“Eye Opening”

Hello, thank you for taking time to find out more about me, Timothy J Tally. As every designer out there says, I have always had an interest in art (drawing, painting, visual expression). In high school, I was in Advanced Placement art private study; this gave me the freedom to express myself while still being held to strict deadlines.

I moved onto Salve Regina University majoring in Criminal Justice, minoring in Graphic Design. This was an eye opening experience! At that time, I was naive and closed-minded. I found out what it really meant to have a true critic, my professor. She opened my eyes to not working for myself but for your client.

Me in the Army

After my time at Salve, I enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard but I never put down my pencils and brushes. While at the Coast Guard Station Castle Hill Newport RI, my commander asked me to re-vamp the road-front station sign. When I moved from the U.S Coast Guard to the U.S. Army I still kept up on my artistic skills, expanding into photography.

Years after the U.S. Army I returned to school. I attend the NewEngland Institute of Technology, completing my Associates in Multimedia and Web Design in March 2013. I am enrolled in the Bachelors of Digital Recording Arts. My eye is forever changing, changing with more exposure.
