650cc
Now, despite the 650cc’s slightly larger motor than a 600cc, its linear gears make it a better starter bike. The linear gearing makes even and smooth power all the way through the gears and within its power band. Unlike a 600cc’s power band, that has the ability take beginners by surprise easily. 650cc’s are also known for having a more relaxed riding position, which can fit taller riders. It’s a great happy medium between a 250cc and 600cc. Because the 250cc is a smaller bike, it may not be comfortable for every rider, or powerful enough to stay interesting after mastering it. And non-aggressive power band is great for starters, unlike the 600cc’s.
